Following today’s announcement from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate Horisont Energi (EURONEXT: HRGI) and Neptune Energy will apply for the license to operate the announced area for CO2 storage in the North Sea. The two companies will apply together where the intention is that Neptune Energy will have the operatorship for the development phase and Horisont Energi will take over as an operator when the Errai project is in operation in 2025. (Koole Terminals), a leading independent liquid bulk storage company, today announced the planned development of a CO2 terminal in the Port of Rotterdam. This terminal and storage facility at the Port of Rotterdam will handle both clean ammonia and CO2. Redevelopment of several hectares for tank storage, multi-modal connections, and access to at least two deep-sea jetties will allow for multi-million tonnes of product throughput. Read More
